2025 Porsche Panamera – Full-size Luxury Sedan – You didn’t think that the third generation of the Porsche Panamera unveiled at the end of last year would be limited to the Panamera 4 and Turbo E Hybrid models, did you? There are two more, namely the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid, with a fourth hybrid to join the lineup at a later date.

We’ll start with the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, which features a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with considerable range to generate strong acceleration. A system power of 463 hp and a torque of 476 kgm allows it to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid puts even more emphasis on driving dynamics by using the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, but gets a total of 536 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. As a result, it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

Porsche Panamera Performance Overview

All new Panamera E Hybrid models feature higher charging speeds and batteries with 45 percent more capacity (25.9 gross kWh) than their predecessors. Meanwhile, the integrated 11kW AC charger can reduce charging time to 2.5 hours under ideal conditions.

Another highlight is the energy recovery capacity of up to 88 kW during braking. Porsche says the pure electric range has improved but isn’t giving numbers yet. However, in Sport and Sport Plus modes, the automaker lowered the battery charge target to 20 and 30 percent, respectively (previously 30 and 80 percent), which increases efficiency without sacrificing performance.

Porsche equips all versions of the new Panamera with dual-chamber adaptive air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with two valve surfaces as standard. The company claims that there is also Porsche Active Ride Active Suspension, which combines excellent grip and cornering performance with a high level of comfort.

Standard equipment on the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid includes 19-inch wheels, black brake calipers and Matrix LED headlights. A high-resolution HD matrix LED lighting system is available as an option. The more luxurious and sporty Panamera 4S E-Hybrid features 20-inch aero design wheels, silver sports pipes and red brake calipers (10-piston front). Acid green and black brake calipers are available as an option.

Here’s How Much A Fully Loaded 2025 Panamera Turbo E Hybrid Costs

The Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2025 and Panamera 4S E-Hybrid will be available for delivery as early as March this year. In Canada, the former starts at $129,800, while the latter costs $148,900. Deliveries will begin in the fall. Hybrid models (PHEV) join the lineup for the 2025 model year.

Almost every last Porsche I’ve driven was executed to such a high standard that it left little room for improvement. But ever the innovator who strives for excellence, Porsche has improved its executive PHEVs in significant ways.

The latest Panamera design hasn’t changed fundamentally, but subtle changes add up to a sharper, bolder look. There are plenty of 911 influences throughout,

while large headlights combined with large front fender intakes and sharp lines all around make the Panamera look sleek and sporty. The Panamera has evolved into a very handsome sedan with excellent proportions – a marked departure from its unsavory first generation.

Inside, the Panamera adopts some design cues first seen on the all-electric Taycan, while a touchscreen is now available for the front passenger-side dash. The optional screen is visible only to the passenger and does not distract the driver.

Although it’s a bit of a trick, the increasingly common feature is useful for travelers to find a radio station, enter a new destination or find a charging station without being distracted by what’s shown on the main screen.

A new toggle-style gear selector is now also located to the right of the steering wheel, freeing up space on the center console. I don’t like the continued use of gloss black surfaces on the center console because it attracts so much dust, and the cabin could hold more small items, but the interior is executed with Porsche’s obsessive build quality.

The Panamera has three available PHEV powertrains, all with standard all-wheel drive (AWD) and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. E-Hybrids are all more powerful, have longer ranges and charge faster than previous generation models.

The Panamera 4E Hybrid gets a twin-turbocharged 2.9L V6 with a 25.9 kWh battery pack, with a combined system output of 463 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The 4S E-Hybrid has the same configuration but has a total system output of 563 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque and other standard features.

The Turbo E-Hybrid combines the same PHEV system with Porsche’s 4.0 L twin-turbocharged V8, for a total system output of 670 hp and 686 km/h of torque, enabling the sprint to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. With the standard Sport Chrono package,

the turbo is deceptively old, but the dramatic electronically-assisted acceleration – along with the powerful growl and rumble from the eight-cylinder – provides endless fun, giving this serious sedan some much-needed personality and pride. gives Competent performance.

Battery Electric Panamera To Join Porsche Lineup In 2026

All E-Hybrid models are equipped with an 11 kW charger that should achieve a full charge in about 2.5 hours using a 240-volt outlet, an improvement over previous Panamera PHEV models. Gas engines can also be used to charge the battery up to 80 percent while driving. The battery pack is the same physical size as the previous model, but has 45 percent more energy.

Official Canadian range and fuel consumption figures have not been released at the time of writing, but Panamera E-Hybrid models should achieve an electric range of 50 to 60 kilometers — an improvement over the previous model’s 31 kilometers — that is at speed. can be used in Up to 140 km/h, the European range is 90 km, but these figures are very optimistic.

After about 90 minutes of driving, the 4 E-Hybrid, which was fully charged for the day, averaged just 3.5 L/100 km, while the Turbo averaged 11.5 L/100 km after the day. After emptying from the charger, it went up well. That’s not bad for something that has a lot of power.

All Panamera E-Hybrid models now get Porsche’s premium air suspension and adaptive dampers as standard. Previous PHEVs already handled like a sports sedan should, but the new layout allows for a more comfortable ride without sacrificing performance. In practice, it works as expected and helps maintain Porsche’s benchmark-setting treatment.

Porsche Taycan & Panamera Comparison

Taking it a step further, though, the most significant innovation here is Porsche’s new Active Ride Control system, which is optional on all E-Hybrid models and replaces the improved anti-roll bars from the previous generation. This high-tech

suspension system controls each wheel individually, automatically reacting 13 times per second to compensate for changing road conditions and react to driving behavior to prevent body roll.

The way it works almost feels scary. You can’t feel anything driving over sewage, road motions, or even speed bumps. Suppose there is a pit, for example; In this case, the suspension puts the wheel in the corner while also lifting the corner of the car, so there is essentially no body movement, the sedan feels like it is floating and in bad conditions it is comfortable and relaxes Right to stay

The new active suspension pays dividends when it comes to performance as well. This allows the Panamera to lean into a corner like a motorcycle, increasing stability and eliminating body roll. It’s a wild innovation, and I’ve never really experienced anything

like it outside of a Mercedes Maybach or a Rolls Royce. This new configuration may be even better than these automotive systems. The Panamera doesn’t take much longer to ride or handle when equipped with this system, and it’s really nice to feel that the body remains completely flat and level regardless of the situation.

As always, precise and weighted steering is a standout, while optional rear-axle steering helps the Panamera feel smaller and more nimble. Longer sedans can maneuver in crowded driveways and parking lots without four-wheel steering.

Porsche Panamera 4s Executive

The only minor hiccup I experienced during my drive was a jerk in the 4 E-Hybrid when you take your foot off the brake pedal and roll from a stop, as if the dual-clutch gearbox forgot.

It’s always remarkable when a Porsche can grow in a big way. Bringing its all-new active ride suspension to the 2025 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid lineup makes it particularly good at balancing performance and comfort. This makes PHEVs even more

desirable than their gas-powered siblings, as the system is not available on these models. With additional improvements to the hybrid system and a stylish but understated look, the Panamera E-Hybrids are well-rounded and efficient, adding more comfort to Porsche’s exciting driving dynamics.
